Fumigation Emissions Controls
Anthrax Fumigation
Destruction of Methyl  Bromide used in Anthrax Fumigations

Work done at the University of Florida by Dr. Scheffrahn has shown that methyl bromide kills spores of anthrax and is superior to the more popular method of anthrax eradiation, chlorine dioxide.

A detailed description of the technology used to destroy methyl bromide from anthrax fumigation was recently published in Science Daily.

The  EPA website describing the use of methyl bromide for anthrax destruction lists no limitations as to its abilitily to destroy anthrax and thus is considered an effective method of destruction.  When anthrax destruction via methyl bromide is combined with emission controls then an effective and environmentally safe tool becomes available for Homeland Security.
